The Reason is Reaching Out to the Community!

The Reason, the youth group at East Orrington Congregational Church, along with others willing to help, is offering their services to the community for the week of June 24th - 29th to help those who may be looking for help with the following:

  •        PaintingClipart toolbox
  •         Yardwork
  •         Steps/Ramps built, repaired, or replaced
  •         Sheds, Attics, Basements cleaned out
  •         Windows cleaned
  •        Small buildings repaired, built, or torn down
  •        Simple landscaping/gardening work
  •        Fencing or stone walls built and/or repaired

Are you willing to let boisterous, but industrious novice (supervised) workers take care of projects around your home that you might otherwise be unable to take care of? Do you have a neighbor or friend who may need some help taking care of such a project?

If you would like work scheduled, please fill out the following application by May 5th, 2024. We will take on projects based on time, funds, and skills available. Decisions will be made and recipients notified by June 1, 2024

Paper forms are available at the Orrington Town Office and at East Orrington Congregational Church, or you can download a copy HERE and return it to EOCC at 38 Johnson Mill Road, Orrington, ME 04474 by May 5th.
