Some days are harder than others, this is just a reality. Yesterday I began my day with Ray and the men's group and after I left there my heart was missing my family. (church). So when I got home I went out to my garden and set my phone to play the old hymns. Boy there are some powerful reminders of our journey with God. One song in particular jumped out at me and I would like to share it with you. I pray you enjoy it as well.
This ancient hymn reminds us that our victory is already won and the Lord brings light to our path, even in dark times like these. And in the version I heard the singer ended it with many Amens. "It is so" YES, it is so we have already gained victory and even in times like these our God is with us. How great is our God. Let us all rejoice! Below are the words followed by a link. Enjoy and know we are together as one, always. Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art Thou my best Thought, by day or by night Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord Thou my great Father, I Thy true son Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one Riches I heed not, nor man's empty praise Thou mine Inheritance, now and always Thou and Thou only, first in my heart High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art High King of Heaven, my victory won May I reach Heaven's joys, O bright Heav'n's Sun Heart of my own heart, whate'er befall Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all. Amen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihJAJA4ibEs Comments are closed.
